Digital Vs. Film

Cost:  The freedom of shooting with digital is a photographers dream.  To
shoot
a wedding the way we do with film would cost thousand's of dollars.  During
an
average wedding we shoot approximately 100 -200 images an hour.  The
cost
of developing over 1000 images is outstanding and can lead to outstanding
package prices.
To be a true photojournalist and capture each and every detail of the day you
must be able to shoot with out having to be concerned about running out of
film, changing rolls every 36 pictures, or the cost of the developing becoming
greater than the package reserved.  Shooting digital gives us full freedom to
capture EACH AND EVERY detail of your wedding without having to worry
about "over-doing" it.  

Quality:  Be assured that the quality of digital prints is equal if not better
than film in the day and age that we live.  Film camera's are lagging behind
in many areas and all advancements and focus in the past 5 years has been
on the digital camera.  All images we shoot on your wedding day are
captured with 8 Megapixel cameras or 8 Million Dots of information per
image while film has approximately 2 Megapixels or 2 Million Dots of
information per image.  We use only the top quality professional digital labs
and ensure that your prints will be equal if not better than film.

Convenience:  Digital gives us options that film never did.  The ability
to email images, to post events online, to edit and touch up without dealing
with first transferring an image from print to computer via scanning.  Digital
photography provides both the photographer and customer with more and
more options each day, and as technology grows, each customer should
begin to expect more options and more availability with regards to viewing
and purchasing their images and digital allows for this.  From flush mount
albums which you can proof online to online ordering and previews, digital
allows the customer and their family greater access to wedding images.  
Digital saves on time for both the customer and photographer allowing us to
keep our package prices down while still providing everything a customer
should expect from their wedding photographer.

All our packages include a proof CD where you can sit at your convenience
and view images without having to wait for a proof book, or prints.
